Eleven European Transmission System Operators in Central Europe to set-up
The involved TSOs (covering an area with 170 million European citizens) agreed to start up a “TSO System Security Cooperation” with the aim to build up a permanent TSO Security Panel (group of security experts) and a common IT platform for data exchange and performing common security assessments.

Transmission System Operators (TSOs) for electricity have founded a new association to strengthen their co-operation in the European electricity market
The Chief Executive Officers of 42 European TSO companies from 34 countries, met today in Brussels to create a new association, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).

First effective joint allocation of transmission capacity for Central West Europe
Luxembourg, 28 November, 2008 – CASC-CWE (Capacity Allocation Service Company for Central West-Europe), the joint cross-border services company created by the Transmission System Operators of Central Western Europe, organized today the first joint auctioning of year and month capacities on the common borders between France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
